Leicester are about where you would expect them to be
Last season already feels like the biggest fluke in the history of the game. Hard to believe it actually happened.

Fractured skull apparently. How must Cahill feel tonight? Not that he's done a thing wrong.

Puts things in perspective

Re: Sunday's football
The reporter said something about physical contact with the official and Wenger looked horrified and said
No no no no no no no there was no contact

They showed the clip again and he shoved him in the tunnel ( ooh er!) 3 times. Should be banned from all stadia for the rest of the season.

When asked did he push the official, did he say, I never saw it?

Wenger is so full of shit

I didn't push the official ... Yes you did
2nd goal wasn't offside ... Yes it was

Re: Sunday's football
I think we are talking about 3 or 4 incidents per 90mins and giving each goal the all clear.
Usually on any controversial decision the game stops for a couple of mins anyway while everyone shouts at the ref.

Feghouli would have stayed on .... 20 secs to decide that.
Probably a couple of pens for us yesterday. Plus a red for the bloke who MUTIALATED Noble.
Probably would have won about 7-1

"Fourth official in the stands with a tv could handle the offsides.
And the pens
And diving"

Which is exactly why they were against video evidence in the first place.

Maybe if they allowed two on pitch appeals per game

The beauty of the goal line technology is that the verdict is instant and unequivocal.

We are seeing to many wrong decisions around offside to the extent that there will sooner or later be a review protocol invoked imo.

Re: Sunday's football
As much as I've suspected corrupt refs, it would just be too big a conspiracy to keep quiet. It would just take one ref to be approached and him to go public - which I'm sure many would.

Re: Sunday's football
Off side is totally different and impossible because it need two simultaneous measurements on two different planes

Re: Sunday's football
The irony about the goal line technology is that the way the refs use it it is possible to give a close call call goal but there is no move to review what might have been an offside.

Grid Iron goes on forever coz of video

Re: Sunday's football
The only sport that has struggled a bit with video replays is probably rugby union where I believe people think too many things are referred and they take too long.
With the amount of pushing and shoving and HARANGING that goes on after every pen decision would leave plenty of time for a review.
The goal line thing has been immaculate and enhanced the game.
